Ice fishing

Bombardier
Abandoned bombardier, Manitoba, Canada

I came across this vehicle in the Manitoba prairies,  fifty miles north of Winnipeg. A relic of its former self, it would have been used for ice fishing, its auger drilling through four feet of ice and its wood stove warming the occupants as they drove across the lake.

The ice hut gave shelter to fishermen and often provided further comforts with the inclusion of a sofa, TV and fridge to keep the beer from freezing.
