I came across this vehicle in the Manitoba prairies, fifty miles north of Winnipeg. A relic of its former self, it would have been used for ice fishing, its auger drilling through four feet of ice and its wood stove warming the occupants as they drove across the lake.
The ice huts give shelter to fishermen and often provides further comforts such as sofas, TVs and fridges to prevent the beer from freezing.
